The Cultural Medallions Program
About This Project
I designed an update of this web site for an important New York City cultural institution. I worked closely with founder Dr. Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel on the color palette, logo, and design features to insure they represented her design sensibility. A special feature for the site was the implementation of a custom Google map that revealed the location of all the cultural medallions, as well as directions to them and a pop-up page with photos, video, and information about each of the Notable New Yorker represented.

IMAGE 3: This is the BIO page with information about the founder Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel.
IMAGE 4: This is the top portion of this NOTABLE NEW YORKERS page with a slideshow of existing installed Historic Medallions. There are 150 Medallions listed below on the web site.
IMAGE 5: A custom google map was created to display all the medallions and allow functionality with Google Maps to get directions to the locations. The map also has a pop-up window with biography info and photos/videos.
